Thanks for volunteering to help make HistoryCamp happen.

Add your name and a link to your e-mail address, and links to other presences on the web, if you wish.  You'll also see some of the major areas that need volunteers.

And note that most items would benefit from at least two volunteers, and sometimes many more, helping out, so if you see a name or two next to an area of interest to you, don't think that one's been "claimed"--just add your name, too.

  • Lee Wright (Site |  Blog  |  LinkedIn) - Getting this going; finding sponsors; outreach to potential presenters
  • Laura Wallendal and Adam Hasler- Venue
  • Facility set up/tear down
  • Registration
  • Food
  • Sponsors
  • Keeping track of the money--The goal, again, is to break even.

Communications

  • Jen Deaderick - Media relations / PR /social media / raising awareness
  • Outreach to local colleges and universities
  • Outreach to local history-related institutions
  • Outreach to the genealogy community
  • Outreach to the reenactor community

I'll help the day of the event by coming early to set up, helping during the day, or staying late to tear down.
