Heard something? Have links?

We're trying to compile them all here...add yours, and your contact info. :)

Here's who we've got on the contact list, let me (lori... lori.e.white at gmail ... if you want to be updated, share info/don't see your name here) know.

Lori White, Lori Feldman, Amy Mandlman, Todd Jordan, Steve (@whereisciao), Robert Hanlon, Karen Goodman, Mike Austin, Robin J Halterman, Aravind.

Lori Feldman's (http://www.TheDatabaseDiva.com) initial presentation about reaching out to non-tech folks NOTES :

1. Don't hang out with geeks. The money (jobs, clients) is where un-tech people are. She's makin' money doing 5% of what we know.

2. Good places to meet potential clients/employers: BNI, YellowTie.org, chambers of commerce, Rotary clubs, weekly luncheons. (they're looking for speakers, so speak! )

3. Connect with big-time business networkers (yes, there are offline versions of people who have big lists of followers--these are PEOPLE CONNECTORS, not computer networks, she says!) Lori says it's ok to use her name to reach out to Karen Hoffman http://www.theideacoach.com/ and Darlene Willman, http://www.sassynetworker.com, two of St. Louis' top people connectors with more than 5,000 names of followers. She promises a lunch or meetup with these two will generate pages of actionable items to leverage your expertise into the business world.

Old media people vs new media people -- how do we get them together? What resources do folks know about?

Lori White: I only care about blogger, social media folks who are DOING THINGS with the real world.
