Saturday August 22nd, 2009

 

• 9-10 AM: Registration, Morning Session Sign-Up & Chai- Basically a Time to Network

 

• 10-10:30 AM: Opening Remarks & Introductions

 

• 10:30 AM-1 PM: Morning Sessions

 

• 1-2 PM: Lunch, Afternoon Session Sign-Up & Chai- More Networking 

 

• 2-5 PM: Afternoon Sessions

 

• 5-6 PM:  Networking and Exhibitions- Optional-Possibly with Soda&Bites if we get enough sponsorship.

 

 

Proposed Sessions

 

• We would like to hear about anything in the field of technology in Tanzania.  This is basically an event for the people of Tanzania to come together to network and talk about the future of Tanzania in terms of technology and industry.  Possible topics that we think are of interest are system adminstration, tele-medicine, databases, solar power, etc. 

   

 

Planners

Most of the planners are teachers within the Department of Computer Engineering at Mbeya Science and Technology, but if you are interested in contributing in terms of planning please email Edwin at edwingudfriend@hotmail.com.
