Whats a BarCampBank?

BarCampBank is an ongoing series of unconferences about innovation in the financial world. Its a spinoff of the popular BarCamp concept.

Whats an unconference?

An unconference is a facilitated, participant-driven conference centered around a theme or purpose. The term "unconference" has been applied, or self-applied, to a wide range of gatherings that try to avoid one or more aspects of a conventional conference, such as high fees and sponsored presentations.

Financial Services people
New technology people
Customer Experience people
Social Media Experts (thats pretty much everyone)

When?

Friday September 4th, 2pm - 5pm

Belgian Beer Cafe

Eureka Tower, 5 Riverside Quay, Southbank

Tips

Eureka Tower is the tallest building in the city, on the south side of the river - look for the blue glass building with the square golden top

Ask for the upstairs function room

Whats involved?

In true unconference style, every attendee must participate, question, comment, present on topics that attendees bring to discuss. The sessions will cover all manner of topics that you provide, and allow for any time slots as we see fit on the day (eg. 15 mins, 30 mins, 1 hour etc). These are either presentations, group chats, workshops, anything.

What to bring?

If you have a presentation, bring it on a USB stick in a format an old PC can handle - PDF is best
