Organizer Roles

 

instigator
the person who creates the original push for the event (possibly by creating the first artefact of the event)

catalyst
a "doer" that creates progress for the event

treasurer
responsible for all monetary needs and incoming and outgoing flows of money at the event

documentation coordinator
the person that assures the event is recorded and shared.

outreach
someone who works outside the community to raise awareness or promote the event (local media, podcasters, bloggers, viral marketing, user groups, local relevant non-tech groups)
