Let me tell you a bit about myself. I got a master's degree in computer science a long time ago, became senior editor at BYTE magazine (where I wrote, among other things, BYTE's cover stories on the original IBM PC, the Lisa, the Commodore Amiga, the Macintosh, and the Macintosh II), then worked at Apple Computer for 10 years (evangelizing Apple technologies to developers through a magazine called Apple Direct, later renamed as Apple Directions).
